Adele's album 21

When Adele released her second album, 21, in January of 2011, few people could have predicted it would become the music industry's biggest hit in years, selling nearly 10 million copes, landing six singles at the top of the charts and winning six Grammys, including Album, Record and Song of the Year. The new issue of Rolling Stone, on stands Friday, September 28th, tells the untold story of the making of a modern classic and includes interviews with Adele's manager Jonathan Dickins, executive producer Rick Rubin, her songwriting collaborator Ryan Tedder and many more – including fans such as André 3000, Aretha Franklin and even Neil Diamond.
